Burnout...

I'm suffering from major blog burnout.

Like many of my fellow bloggers, I feel as though I've hit a brick wall.

What to post?

Nothing truly funny has happened at work lately.

Nothing exciting is happening in my life. (Like it ever does...)

I just don't know what to write about.

Clearly the Tang and the Monkey were fillers.

Fillers so you'd come back to me.

Please don't leave.

I’m not going anywhere. I’m just standing here waiting and panting like any good stalker worth his wild. No! Wait! I’m just kidding. Put the phone down. I’m leaving. See? I’ll check back later.

You'll be fine. Grant Miller told me I could mine his blog for material; I'm sure he'd offer you the same deal.

If not that, why not rummage through a box of old love letters to look for ideas.

I feel the same way, sometimes, but I like the challenge of trying to come up with something amusing when I'm drawing a blank. Sometimes the fillers are the best posts.

I recommend making sh*t up. That's what I do. Tell outrageous lies about your life. Who's gonna know?

Happy Inappropriate Card Day!

Blog burnout. That happens. I kinda solved the problem by including news stories and commenting on them. I'm hoping that the stuff I post is on topics that most people wouldn't normally see. I still have all kinds of inane babblings about strange, off-the-wall stuff (still wishing the current craze of shaved beavers would pass; bush is so much better).

Don't worry, you work retail. Sooner or later you will have more dumb shits to blog about.

You could take a break for a bit and invite a guest blogger so that you don't lose readership and some R&R might provide yousome fresh inspiration. Sounds like you're just trying too hard at the moment.

Sorry you are in that place. Like Nobody said, you'll find something soon, people are the best blog fodder.

Blogger Block only happens to people with a layered brain. People who are intelligent suffer from this from time to time, so accept that as a good thing...
